Available NOW! These little packs are amazing.

The Killer RC 2300mAh 6.6v LiFe battery lasts a long time in a transmitter. They also work good as a receiver pack on boats and nitros. I actually used one in my MCD RaceRunner with dual steering servos, and it did great. These will also work fine with 6v servos and radio receivers. The extra bit of voltage doesn't hurt anything. It actually makes the servos faster and stronger.

You just need a LiFe (LiFePo4) compatible battery charger.

These batteries are easy to use and charge.
Charge it at 2.3 amps or less, 6.6v LiFe mode.
As with any Lithium battery, balancing is not mandatory, but why not do it anyway. It only takes a couple seconds to plug in the balance plug.
As with any Lithium battery, it should be stored at half charge when not being used for a couple weeks or more.

7.2v is fully charged.
6.6v is good for storage.
Don't discharge below 5.0v.

Here's this pack in a Futaba 4PL. This pack is a little thicker than the stock battery pack, but it fits nicely. You just have to get the power wires tucked to the side. You don't want to cram the battery on top of the wires, cuz that'll make the battery stick up higher and you won't be able to slide the battery door on.
