Killer Bee Gas Kill Switch

Killer Bee Gas Kill Switch

The Killer Bee gas kill switch allows you to remotely kill your car or boats’ gas engine remotely with your radio transmitter. It will also kill the engine during a radio glitch, low battery, or total battery power loss. This kit includes your choice of the Killer Bee v1, v2,or v2-S, depending on which version you need. Check the FAQ and Radio & Killer Bee compatibility chart. This kit comes with our special ignition wire cabling to connect the Killer Bee to your ignition coil. The ignition cable now includes an inline JST quick disconnect, so you can quickly remove your engine or battery box without having to unscrew the wires from the Killer Bee. We also added an EMI filter on the wiring to stop odd radio glitches and ignition issues. You can also add the option of a Remote Status LED with 7” wiring for mounting the LED in the battery box lid. To mount the LED, simply drill a 1/4” hole in the lid, insert the clear LED cover in the hole, and fit the LED into the lens, and add some glue around the base of the LED. There are more pics in our Gallery. The remote LED will glow on/off and flash, showing the status of the Killer Bee kill switch that’s hiding down inside your battery box. You can also add an optional buzzer which will sound when the engine is killed, reminding you to flip your 3rd channel switch On before trying to start the engine. The alarm buzzer will also sound if you have turned off your transmitter power but left the receiver power on, reminding you to turn off your receiver power and keeping you from accidentally draining your battery pack.

Killer Kontroller 2 - Light Controller

Killer Kontroller 2 - Light Controller

This new "plug & play" Light Controller allows you to control multiple sets of LED headlights and tail lights on your RC car. The Killer Kontroller 2™ goes in between your radio receiver and your servos. Use your 3rd channel to switch through 8 different light modes.

This Killer Kontroller 2™ is compatible with any 3 channel radio. The Killer Kontroller 2™ can power two different channels of headlights a pair of tail/brake lights. When you apply the brakes on your transmitter your tail lights will light up and become brake lights. You can also make your tail lights function as turn signals. As you steer the car the tail lights will flash which ever direction you are turning. This feature can be disabled. The Killer Kontroller™ also has an always-on marker light output, which can be used for UnderGlow lights or whatever you want. Connect a v2 or v2-S Killer Bee to the Aux output on the light controller, and then you can kill the engine by turning off the transmitter power. With 4 channel radios the setup is a little different, so be sure to watch the light controller videos on our video page. The Killer Kontroller™ can also be used with 2 channel radios but the headlights will always be constantly On until the receiver power switch is turned Off. Another cool feature we have added is that the headlights will automatically start flashing when your battery voltage gets low (4.0v), alerting you that you need to recharge the battery pack. This light controller operates on 4 to 12 volts, but whatever voltage your battery is, that is what the light controller will put out to your LED lights. Six volts is the usual application. If your Servos are 6v then you need to use a 6v battery. This light controller is compact in size, doesn't get hot, and can be used on many gas, nitro, and electric RCs. The Killer Kontroller 2™ light controller works best with Killer RC brand LED lights.

Now it's easy to add tail lights to your HPI Baja 5T using the stock light brackets. This kit uses high quality LEDs that will last for thousands of hours. These lights operate on 4 to 8.5 volts. Each light board only pulls 70ma, which means that a 3,000mAh battery could power a pair of these tail lights for over 21 hours. Includes 6 mounting screws and 6 black plastic washers to hold the circuit boards in place. The wiring is 32 inches (81cm) long. Red is the only color available for now. After installation it is a good idea to coat the back of the LED circuit board with some Shoe Goo or silicone to help protect it from water. These tail lights work perfectly with the new Killer RC Light Controller (Killer Kontroller 2™).

Rear Turnbuckles for HPI Baja

The Killer RC™ Rear Turnbuckles for HPI Baja include two polished billet aluminum spacers, and two heat-treated alloy steel turnbuckles. These high tensile alloy steel turnbuckles are specially heat treated, giving them greater strength than titanium or stainless steel. Then when you add the aluminum spacers you have a setup that is many times tougher than the stock setup. The aluminum spacers simply work by spreading out the forces to a larger area on the end of the arm and ball end. Installation is easy. Just screw the turnbuckle into the arm, slide the spacer over the turnbuckle and tighten the ball end tight up against it. You should not be able to move or spin the spacer. The aluminum spacers will fit overtop of PhatDad turnbuckles. They will also fit overtop of Fast Eddy pro turnbuckles if you drill open the spacers' a little bit. For spacer length choose 12mm (stock camber), 9.5mm, or 14.8mm spacers (great for the FLM extended arm kit).
